Hello, my name is Nickole! I am a culturally-affirming therapist dedicated to supporting clients through compassionate and person-centered care. I believe in the capacity for healing and reconnection to our true Self, even when we feel stuck. A Self that is curious, caring, courageous, confident, and more. A Self that is able to experience joy, warmth, and internal safety. A Self that is able to advocate and stand up for the parts of us that have been silenced.
I can support a wide range of concerns with a special interest in supporting issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and intergenerational trauma. I work with diverse populations while also specializing in working with neurodivergent individuals and immigrants/children of immigrants.
I believe in tailoring the therapeutic approach and welcoming collaboration to best support your unique needs. While I take an eclectic approach, I am strongly informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), which allows for deep exploration of the different parts of oneself and promotes healing through understanding and integration. I am also informed by Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help support you in learning present-focused coping strategies and emotional regulation.
I am committed to providing an open, safe, supportive environment where teens and adults can explore the experiences that have made them feel scared, rejected, alone, or hopeless. My priority is for you to feel seen and heard in the care that you seek. Together, we can address the challenges you’re facing and help you to rediscover your voice and internal resources for healing.
