Who We Are
Volunteer
Counsellor, Alberta, MC

Kike recently completed CityU in Canada’s Master of Counselling Degree program and finalized
her internship at the Calgary Counselling Centre. Under the guidance of a dedicated supervisor,
she spent eight months delving into various aspects of counselling, receiving individual and
group supervision weekly, and actively participating in training and workshops offered by the
center.
Kike's tenure at Calgary Counselling Centre allowed her to extend her support to individuals and
couples facing concerns ranging from addictions and relationship issues to self-esteem, trauma,
and depression. Her approach is holistic and adaptable, drawing from a rich tapestry of
therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, emotion-focused therapy,
narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.
Prior to pursuing counselling, Kike worked as an accountant for over two decades and is a
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). Her accounting background reflects her analytical
prowess and equips her with invaluable skills in problem-solving, attention to detail, and
strategic thinking.
With a blend of empathy, expertise, and a commitment to lifelong learning, Kike provides a safe and supportive environment where individuals and couples can explore their challenges, uncover their strengths, and cultivate positive change in their lives. Whether you're seeking to overcome past traumas, improve relationships, or enhance your overall well-being, Kike is here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
