Welcome! Congratulations on taking the first step towards finding help. I am an MA in Counselling Psychology (MACP) practicum student from Yorkville University, working towards a Registered Psychotherapist designation. I am an immigrant, queer of colour, non-binary therapist with disabilities looking to help folx with mental health struggles, especially within queer, trans and BIPOC communities. While working with clients, I hope to address anxiety, stress, sadness, dissociation, grief, loss, rage, self-criticism, shame, and trauma that may or may not result from interpersonal and systemic experiences of violence and oppression. I can utilize psychodynamic approaches along with motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioural therapy, and dialectical interventions to help people.
